Stained Glass Project
Stations of the Cross Project
The final projects for our Revitalizaiton work are underway and will be completed by the end of this year. As mentioned recently we have 3 projects underway (see the links above): 1) Reconfiguration of the sacristy with new more workable cabinetry, drop ceiling and doors to enclose the sacristy to keep the church space quiet and reverent; 2) Stained Glass windows to be placed in the rectangular windows above the altar; 3) Updated stations of the cross. As we finish up these final projetcs we are closing in on our parish goal but are still in need of support for the revitalization of St. Mark Parish. We hope to reach the goal by December 31, 2021 and thank all who have helped us reach this point and ask for continued support to help us raise the remaining amount.
As you know we have completed many projects and are in process of continuing this good and necessary work to revitalize our buildings, but primarily to build up the community, and deepen our faith. As we come to the final year of our Revitalization campaign, we now look to the diocesan campaign called Christ Our Hope (COH) to fulfill our goals. This diocesan campaign has been implemented by bishop Coyne to primarily build up the individual parishes. 60% of the funds raised will go directly to support our work of revitalization here at St. Mark. The campaign progress bar located on this page includes the funds to date that have been raised through the COH campaign. Thank you all for your generosity and support of St. Mark Parish!

In October of 2018 our Parish announced a capital campaign to revitalize our church, making it a more attractive and welcoming environment. Putting Jesus at the heart of our church, literally and figuratively, is the central focus for our worship space.
Our goal is to raise $700,000 over the next three years.
We have some exciting new updates! We have finished our deferred maintenance projects with the completion of the new roof on the Family/Youth Center and the installation of new sky lights. We are now beginning Phase 1 of the interior of the Church. This phase includes the following: Repair current heating system, and implement a cooling/air circulation system, new floor & new lighting; Repainting the ceiling, refinishing the woodwork and pews & adding more handicap accessible seating; restoring the steps at the entrances of the Church & adding more handicap accessibility
Phases 2 & 3 of the interior of the Church include the plan of relocating the tabernacle back to the center of the sanctuary and enshrining the existing Mary and Joseph statues, which will flank the tabernacle in its restored location (Phase 2). And the addition of a bathroom and choir loft (Phase 3).
This presentation (slideshow), which was shown during weekend masses October 6-7, 2018 outlines the revitalization campaign goals and includes architectural renderings of the revitalized space.
A brochure (view in new window)
(download) has been distributed to parishoners as well; it also outlines the campaign objectives and includes photographs of completed projects and the plans for the revitalized Church.
We have faith that we can reach our goal, but we need your support! Please prayerfully consider making a pledge or donationto this revitalization campaign. The Pledge Form (view in new window) (download) includes instructions for various ways to provide financial support.
